How to Care for your Melody
Melody pants are not the same as regular pants. The unique design and elastic materials make the pants extremely comfortable but also more delicate.
They need to be treated with care.
- The right size means a flattering fit. The wrong size risks over streching and sagging. Ensure you have the perfect fit prior to removing the tags. See the sizing chart at https://www.activedesignwear.com/pages/size-chart.
- Put the pants on like stockings; gradually roll up the legs and slip in. Never pull from the waist.
- Be gentle when dressing. Open buttons and undo zipper before putting on and taking off.
- Belt loops are for belts and not tugging. Too much force will cause damage. Put them on with care.
- Your clothes will go where you go; day spas, dates and spin classes. Be careful with your fresh mani, as sharp and rough surfaces can damage the material.
- Hand wash with cold water using a mild detergent.
- Avoid fabric softener. This can ruin the function of the technical fabrics.
- Deodorants are harsh and can bleach fabrics.
- Do not:
- Leave them wet
- Soak
- Tumble dry
- Dry clean
- Bleach
- Iron the silicon membrane
- Dry in direct sunlight
